Prunus communis
The standard pear for home and commercial use. Large, golden fruit has sweet, juicy, white flesh. Excellent for fresh eating, canning or preserves. Fruit keeps off of the tree for up to 3 months. Vigorous, self-fertile tree bears at an early age.
